Sakmash [shift summery, Freddy Lemmon 2017-2020]
2025 | book | print | documentary
End of Shift Reports is a book that sketches a portrait of Jerusalem through my work at Freddy Lemon, a bar in Mahane Yehuda Market. Built from unedited WhatsApp “shift summaries” sent by the management team — alongside photos, screenshots, and memes — it documents the city’s pulse through nightlife. Divided into four chapters — Community, Culture, Enforcement, and Violence — the book traces the tensions between intimacy and chaos, authority and freedom, love of place and the urge to escape.

The book was created as part of the course Data and the City, mentored by Anat Katzir.
